The calendar screen now allows caregivers to see assigned shifts, open shifts, and daily meetings. There is an appointment screen for caregivers to clock in and out at the start and end of care delivery. The new and improved UI also contains all assignments in various categories in one screen under Calendar.

  • Assigned: All assigned schedules and dates are displayed on this screen.
  • Open: All open shifts and the current date are displayed on this screen.
  • Available: All available shifts and the current date are displayed on this screen.
  • Meeting: Meetings, if any, are displayed on this screen along with the current date.

Caregivers can quickly view all the information about their clients in a single location. This feature helps caregivers reach their destination and get contact & emergency contact details.

  • Caregivers can access "My Clients," which contains detailed client information.
  • The caregiver can view the client's address, emergency contacts, and care plan by clicking on any client's name.
  • Caregivers can now view their profile details under "Profile."
  • In addition to the existing features, caregivers can view their online/offline status, the application version, and GPS accuracy.

The 'Available Shifts' and ‘Ad-Hoc Scheduling’ features in our caregiver app give caregivers the flexibility to accept or decline shifts requested by the agency and create their schedules with assigned clients.

  • The 'Find Caregiver' option in the scheduling module of CareSmartz360+ allows service providers to request one or more caregivers to fill a specific schedule.
  • Caregivers can see those shifts you would like them to fill within the caregiver app and then mark their status as Available, Unavailable, or need more information.
  • Based on these responses, home care agencies can easily review and assign an available caregiver for the open shift.
  • With ad hoc scheduling, allowed caregivers can effortlessly create and manage one-time shifts with assigned clients by clocking in and out of each shift.

Ensure a safer caregiving environment.

CareSmartz360+'s COVID-19 task force is making every effort to ensure the safety of your clients and caregivers. We have introduced the "Pre-Screening" module in the caregiver app to analyze and protect caregivers and clients against COVID-19 exposure.

  • CareSmartz360+'s 'Shift Pre-Screening' helps your agency to screen caregivers who may have been exposed to COVID-19.
  • Once enabled, the caregiver will receive a prompt in the caregiver app to answer predefined questions.
  • In the Office Settings, you can determine the questions and whether the caregiver will need to answer for every shift or just once a day.
  • After answering these questions, the caregiver signs and clicks 'Save' to submit the answers.
  • If the caregiver answers any of the 4 questions unfavorably, the agency will be notified via email/SMS.

Tools for efficiency, communication, & increased client satisfaction.

  • Record expenses: Caregivers can record expenses incurred while providing care services. The expenses will automatically be calculated into your payroll.
  • Show unavailability: Caregivers can mark themselves as unavailable due to vacations or personal scheduling conflicts. This way, the system knows they are unavailable for shifts and will notify the scheduler when creating schedules
  • Compliance: Caregivers can upload and record compliance documents, including licenses and certifications.
  • Accurate distance: The app now shows the current distance of the caregiver from the client's location on each shift.
  • Location tracking: By enabling location tracking, agencies can enhance caregiver safety, optimize operational efficiency, foster accountability, and facilitate seamless communication.
  • Total scheduled hours: On the Calendar screen, the caregiver app shows the total hours completed by the caregiver on a particular day.
  • Quick clock-out: Caregivers can see 2 shifts on the app dashboard: the shift they are currently working on and the upcoming shift.
  • Upload video files: Caregivers can add videos and/or documents as attachments in the app. This would be for things like adding expenses, adding notes, key documents, compliance, etc.

Have a question?

The “Shift Pre-Screening” feature, when enabled from the agency’s end, will give a prompt on the screen on the caregiver app in the caregiver’s smartphone. The caregiver needs to answer questions regarding their overall health before they can clock-in for the assigned shift. The result is stored and sent to the agencies instantly via SMS/email.

The caregiver can perform several tasks that include:
  • View/Add Key documents
  • View/Add Compliance
  • View/Add Availability-Unavailability
  • View SMS log

If the caregiver’s internet connectivity is unstable or the internet is not available, the caregivers can work on offline mode and see the last sync i.e. when the data was sent to the server before the connectivity got lost.

The caregivers can navigate to the “My Clients” screen in the CareSmartz360 caregiver app and check the emergency contact detail of the client.
